Watercolor on Paper, 18 x 24 inches.

Mark your calendar.

On June 27, the Vogt Visual Arts Center in Tinley Park, Illinois will have its Inaugural Juried Art Show and Sale from 10 am to 3 pm.

Bring the family to meet local artists and tour the  beautiful Oak Park Avenue.

I'll be there, so stop by and say hello.  See you there!

Oak Park Avenue is good. I like cityscapes. Street scenes. Better than landscapes. It is because people interest me. Even if not in the painting I imagine them, myself, walking the sidewalk, on my way to catch a bus, get a haircut, even walk over to the fountain and see if anyone has dropped a coin in.

Thank you for your work.

You're very much welcome Ralph, it's a pleasure sharing my love for art to fellow artists :)

Oak Park Avenue. Looks like a street I've never been on, but would like to. Quaint, old-fashioned, picturesque. Something from the turn of the century. The brick buildings, the fountain, etc., on a Sunday morning, emanating an aura of peace.
